Rose is a Registered Massage Therapist who was raised in the small town of New Harbour, Trinity Bay, NL. She started the Massage Therapy Program at ICT Northumberland College just one year out of high school, with plans to pursue a career that focused on clinical practice. While studying the program she chose to focus on electives in which she gained experience in the treatment of pre-natal clients, infants, and also neurological conditions.
Upon graduating in 2006, Rose went on to complete the provincial requirements for registration in Newfoundland and Labrador. She has since volunteered as a member of the Board of Directors for the College of Massage Therapists of Newfoundland and Labrador, which has taught her the importance of maintaining high professional standards for massage therapists here in our province.
Over the last five years Rose has worked in a couple of different clinical settings along side of massage therapists, acupuncturists, and chiropractors, all of which she feels has helped to further her knowledge as a massage therapist. She has had the chance to work with a diverse clientele, which has reinforced the importance of creating a specific treatment plan for each client depending on their specific needs. While many of her treatments focus on deep tissue massage techniques, she understands the importance of treatment that is appropriate for the individual client.
