Born to Newfoundland parents and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, Dr. Erin Hoffe always knew she wanted to blend her love for health and activity with her desire to help others.
She began her studies in Toronto, Ontario at York University, receiving an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology. Dr. Hoffe went on to attend the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where she graduated Cum Laude. In addition to her doctorate degree, Dr. Hoffe received her certification in contemporary medical acupuncture from McMaster University. She also completed additional courses in Activator Methods, Athletic Movement Assessments, and Mental Health First Aid.
Dr. Hoffe is an evidence based chiropractor who prides herself in providing individualized treatment plans to help each patient achieve their goals. Treatments consist of hands on therapy including various joint adjustments and muscle release techniques, such as the use of instrument assisted soft tissue tools and medical acupuncture. In addition to hands on therapy, active rehabilitation exercises are a cornerstone of each treatment plan to help prevent re-injury.
After graduating in June, Erin made the move from Toronto to St. John’s. When she’s not in the clinic, Erin can be found outside enjoying the various running and hiking trails around St. John’s. Since moving to the city she has also joined a women’s hockey league and is looking forward to getting back in the rink and involved in the community.
